EVD3000+ ADVANCED HANDHELD EXPLOSIVES TRACE PARTICULATE / VAPOUR DETECTOR
Detects traces of both particulates and vapors, allowing for non-invasive searches of luggage, mail, vehicles, documents and containers.
It detects and identifies most military, commercial, even homemade explosives, liquid and powdered, such as dynamite, NG, black powder, TATP and other related peroxides and all tagged plastics.
Capable of detecting the presence of plastic and high-vapor-pressure explosives, including taggants.
It is one thousand times more sensitive than other portables, with fewer false alarms. TATP and peroxide explosives have been used in the 2005 London underground bombings, and by the Paris shoe-bomber, al Qaeda, the IRA, among many other deadly groups. The EVD-3000+ has high selectivity to explosives and immunity to weather and environmental interference. Where precise identification is not needed, ask for the affordable E3200.
