This research is still in its infancy and much research still needs to be conducted, but it is starting to point in a specific direction. The premise is if we keep the body frequency high enough and well oxygenated, we can live free of disease.

The electromagnetic spectrum encompasses all manner of light waves, including radio and TV waves. It shows the range of visible light, yet I have wondered why it does not show the frequencies of audible sound.

I understand now that all electromagnetic energy moves at the speed of light (186,000 miles per second) and that the speed of sound is a mere 770 miles per hour. Nevertheless, I longed to see a spectrum that would include light and sound. Since both could be measured in frequencies, I thought it must be possible. Then I had quite a surprise! I discovered that smell could also be measured in frequencies.

Fourier discovered that the visual cortex does not respond to patterns; it responds to the frequencies of waveforms. He explored the other senses and found that a hundred years previously German physicist Hermann von Helmholtz demonstrated that the ear is a frequency analyzer.

More recent research reveals that the sense of smell is apparently based on something called osmic frequencies . Georg von Bekesy

(1899-1972), an American biophysicist born in Hungary, demonstrated that the skin is sensitive to frequencies of vibration, and even produced evidence that taste may involve frequency analysis. He found that physical movements are stored in the brain through a process akin to Fourier mathematics where they are converted into waveforms.

Lest this sound too unbelievable, let’s look at some more mundane examples. Human chauvinism makes us think that reality can be defined only by what human beings experience with their five senses. It is difficult for us to believe that there are sounds we cannot hear and vibrations we cannot feel. Yet we all know that dogs and cats hear sounds that we cannot hear.

The seawater crocodile senses electrical vibrations more than one hundred yards away. The shark has electrosensors covering its snout that allow it to pick up the vibrations of creatures hiding under the sand. Sharks have a hearing-feeling sense on their bodies (scientists call it a lateral line ) that allows them to sense vibrations of moving prey.

I had the privilege of swimming underwater while the humpback whales were “singing” their haunting bellowing calls, truly the most awesome sounds I have ever heard. I felt those sounds through my entire body! Many other swimmers in Hawaii have described the same sensation.

Armed with all this information, I began to imagine a spectrum that would include the range within which humans (and other animals) can see, hear, smell, taste, touch, and feel.

In 1992, Bruce Tainio of Tainio Technology, an independent division of Eastern State University in Cheny, Washington, built the first frequency monitor in the world – Calibrated Frequency Monitor (CFM).

Of course, in practise this does not work for most of us because, being human, we experience stress and emotional challenges on a daily basis, which lower our body frequency.

Hence, we need to raise our body frequency regularly/daily with the right substances that are compatible at the cellular/energetic level of our being, rather than wait until our body frequency has dropped so low that it becomes a friendly host for microscopic invaders.

According to a report (Epidemiology, May 2001; 11:345-349) psychological stress – particularly the chronic type that may accompany a personality with a negative outlook – is a risk factor for contracting colds. An optimistic outlook and outgoing personality seemed to protect individuals, investigators found.

The findings indicate that high levels of psychological stress are closely associated with contracting the common cold. While the common cold is rarely a serious health hazard, it is responsible for about 30 million days of lost work in the U.S. alone each year.

To investigate whether stress increased the likelihood of developing a cold, the researchers surveyed more than 1,100 Spanish university staff and students at regular intervals over a one year period.

The study focused on different types of stress, including stress from life events, perceived stress, having a generally negative outlook, anxious or compulsive personality, compared with having a positive outlook/attitude to life.

Individuals with a negative outlook were at greatest risk of developing colds – regardless of their intake of vitamin C and zinc or their smoking and drinking habits. The next highest-risk individuals were those who believed that they were under stress. These people were nearly three times as likely to develop a cold, according to the report.
